A cool pool, coming and going for a brief period each spring, allows these amphibians to exist, just as they always have for millions of years.

Without the hard protective shell as evolved in reptiles and birds, or the warm internal sea as provided by the mammalian mother, these primitive amphibians, both eggs and tadpoles, still depend on this external water for reproduction.

Current troubles and issues aside, I can't help but wonder what Creation has in store for all its children, including us humans. To what extent do we have a choice in the direction of our own evolution?

As for myself, after getting over this initial speed bump, I see many wonderful possibilities, both on Earth and in outer space, exploring other worlds, big and small, past and future.

Retiring now from the profession of pharmacy, I consider this an exit report of sorts, my personal opinion and perspective of the whole shebang, expressed best I can.

As for the destiny of our little friend at the beginning of this chapter's journey?

By all accounts,

The Rule of Creation is, most obviously,

Wonderful Transformation.

Enjoy!
